Can guests pick a specific time slot, or just a date?
Both. The Preferred time field is a dropdown you control — list 6pm, 6:30pm, 7pm, and so on, and the guest picks one. If you only do two seatings, list two options. You can change the available times any week by editing the dropdown.
How do we stop people booking more guests than the room holds?
The Party size field accepts a min and max. Set it to 1-6 for the regular dining room and the form will reject a request for 8 with a message routing them to a private-dining inquiry instead. For larger venues, you can also cap total covers per time slot.
Will guests get an automatic confirmation?
Yes. Every submission triggers a confirmation email with the date, time, party size, and your restaurant address. You can customize the email copy — and add a Google Maps link or a note about the dress code — without writing any code.
Can we get a Slack notification when a booking comes in?
Yes, in two clicks. Connect a Slack channel and new reservations post there with all the fields formatted as a message. Most operators send them to a private #bookings channel the host and kitchen lead both watch.
